Here are some ways to get the most out of your tree service appointment and give back a little to your landscaping in the process.

Wood Chipping

One of the first ways to get the most out of your tree service appointment is to ask them to chip any removed wood and return it to you. In essence, this means that there is no heavy debris for the contractor to haul off and you get mulch for your landscape. In some cases, you can receive a reduced fee on the appointment due to no longer needing removal of debris.

Tree Health Checks

You may have trees on your property that look healthy and beautiful, but could be facing serious issues. While you have the tree service contractors on-site, consider having them do a check of your larger trees. This check will let the contractors know if there are problems that may cause dead trees, infected tree trunks, or other issues. If a problem is found, you can work to resolve the issue or have the tree removed.
